Unsecured borrowing for homeowners and tenants improving household energy systems at a property in Valais.

Borrow CHF 10,000–50,000 for solar panels, a heat pump, district or pellet heating, or an electric vehicle charging point. The loan requires no security and carries a published preferential interest rate of 3.9%.
You repay the borrowed money in monthly instalments over 3–8 years and pay interest on the loan.
Eligibility
- You must live in Switzerland and have Swiss nationality or a C residence permit.
- The property must be in Valais. Both tenants and owners can apply.
- BCVs assesses your application and will lend only if it does not create a risk of overindebtedness.

Apply through the BCVs Eco Home online form, which accepts both existing and new customers. Enter the purpose, amount and repayment period, along with your personal and financial details.
Provide your last three salary slips, latest tax return, debt-enforcement register extract, the contractor’s quotation, your rental agreement or mortgage contract, and proof of health insurance or paid premiums for all household members. BCVs gives an initial assessment within 48 hours; the final credit decision follows receipt of the required documents.
