Climate protection grant
Grants for TWO energy customers replacing coal or oil heating with a heat pump, adding solar storage, buying efficient household appliances or obtaining energy advice.

You receive a payment from Technische Werke Osning after it approves your completed purchase or work. The programme offers €400 for replacing coal or oil heating with an electric heat pump, €50 per kWh of usable capacity for a battery added to solar panels that have operated for at least 12 months, €40 per qualifying large household appliance, or €30 for qualified energy advice.
The 2026 programme has a total budget of €30,000. Applications are considered in order of receipt and funding is subject to financing. There is no entitlement even if you meet all conditions; TWO may change or stop the programme. TWO reserves the right to recover the grant if you breach the conditions.
Eligibility
- For a heat pump, TWO must supply electricity to your new heating system when you apply and immediately after the heating switch. Keep that supply contract for at least two further years from application. This grant is available once per property.
- For a retrofit solar battery, TWO must supply your household electricity both when you buy it and when you apply. Keep that contract for at least two further years from application. The existing solar installation must have operated for at least 12 months; this grant is available once per property.
- Eligible appliances are refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, combined washer-dryers and dishwashers in classes A, B or C under the EU energy label introduced on 1 March 2021. TWO must supply your household electricity at purchase and application, and the contract must continue for at least two further years from application. At most three appliances are funded per programme year. The invoice must show the model and efficiency class, or you must attach equivalent evidence.
- For qualified energy advice, TWO must supply you with electricity, natural gas or heat both when you receive the advice and when you apply. Submit the invoice with the application; its date must be in the programme year. Advice is funded once per property.
- The purchase or invoice date must be in 2026. Invoices documenting purchases or completed contractor work must be in your name. TWO excludes invoices issued by natural persons and private sales. TWO contracting models are eligible.

Apply exclusively through the online form on TWO’s programme page after buying the item or completing the installation. Select the measure, upload invoices proving the purchase or completed work, and provide your personal details, TWO contract account and bank details. Submit within the 2026 programme, which ends on 31 December, subject to available funds.
TWO checks the conditions and contacts you if they are not met. If approved, it transfers the grant without a separate notification.
