Borrow for insulation, heat pumps, solar panels or an electric car as a member with a local connection to Drogheda, Dunleer, East Meath, Trim or Slane.
Tato příležitost je nyní dostupná v angličtině.
Use this loan for home energy upgrades, including insulation, windows or doors, heating controls and heat pumps, solar panels and ventilation systems, or for an electric car. At least 60% of the money you borrow must go directly towards green upgrades; the offer also accommodates other home improvement work.
Drogheda Credit Union lends €2,000–€75,000, with repayment over up to 10 years and no minimum term. It advertises interest rates starting at 5.9% (6.08% APR, the annual percentage rate used to compare borrowing costs). The credit union transfers the borrowed funds and you repay the loan with interest. Missing repayments puts your account into arrears and may damage your credit rating and future access to credit.
Eligibility
You must be a member of Drogheda Credit Union. You can join if you live, work or study in Drogheda, Dunleer, East Meath, Trim or Slane, and you can join and apply for a loan on the same day.
Approval depends on your ability to afford the repayments. At least 60% of the borrowed money must be allocated directly to green upgrades.
