You can finance roof, external-wall and ceiling insulation, replacement windows and sun protection, heating improvements, ventilation, solar thermal systems and photovoltaic panels. Other energy-renovation measures can qualify when an energy adviser has demonstrably recommended them.
The property-renovation ceiling is €50,000, with loans starting at €15,000. Published loan terms range from 60 to 180 months. The fixed nominal interest rate starts at 4.99% per year, subject to creditworthiness; this is the advertised starting rate, rather than a guaranteed rate for every borrower.
Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen lends you the money and advertises immediate payout. You repay the borrowed money with interest through instalments over the agreed term.

- The energy renovation must be for your own property.
- You must pass the lender’s creditworthiness assessment.
