Use the loan to make your existing home more energy efficient. The named examples include solar panels, a liquid-to-water heat pump, water-based heating and additional insulation.
You borrow money from Etnedal Sparebank and repay it through ordinary instalments over up to ten years. Repayments reduce the amount you owe; interest and fees are the cost of borrowing.
The published nominal interest rate starts at 5.19%. The bank illustrates NOK 300,000 over ten years with an effective rate of 5.93%, borrowing costs of NOK 94,888 and total payments of NOK 394,888. The payment fee is NOK 60 and registration follows state tariffs. General lending fees start at NOK 2,500 for establishing or changing a loan and NOK 750 for administering security documents.
Eligibility
- The money must pay for measures that improve the energy efficiency of your own home.
- Etnedal Sparebank must be your main bank.
- Send evidence that the work has been completed within six months after the loan is granted. The bank accepts examples such as contractor invoices or receipts for purchased equipment.
