Fleet study pilot
Co-funding for a fleet study to help New Zealand businesses without telematics data improve vehicle use, reduce fuel consumption and identify cost savings.
Tato příležitost je nyní dostupná v angličtině.
The study surveys your entire fleet: its strategy, vehicle mix, operating practices, asset management, costs and environmental effects. You receive an audit and fleet-composition report, plus a presentation of cost-saving opportunities. It provides a starting point for improving fleet efficiency and developing an effective internal audit process.
EECA funds up to 50% of the study cost, capped at NZ$5,000 excluding GST. Your business pays the balance, including costs above the cap. This is support for analysis and advice, rather than a vehicle-purchase grant.
The study is intended for businesses without telematics data—vehicle-use and driving-pattern information collected through fleet monitoring. EECA identifies it as a way to reduce fuel use. Its separate fleet-optimisation offer analyses existing telematics data; those different support terms do not apply to this study.
Eligibility
New Zealand businesses with more than 20 vehicles and no access to telematics data are within the supported applicant scope. The study is for businesses seeking to benchmark operations, use their fleet more efficiently and establish an effective internal fleet-audit process.
Public-service departments and Crown entities are excluded. Once your application is approved, choose a suitably qualified and experienced service provider. EECA's suggested providers are examples; you can use another provider with the necessary qualifications and experience.
