Residential energy-efficiency rebates
Residential members can receive a $100 bill credit when replacing an old refrigerator at home with a qualifying ENERGY STAR model.
Tato příležitost je nyní dostupná v angličtině.
The refrigerator option in Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative’s residential energy-efficiency rebate programme helps you replace an old, inefficient refrigerator in your home with a new ENERGY STAR certified refrigerator. The rebate is $100, or the price you paid if that is lower, and is credited to your electricity account rather than paid in cash.
The cooperative advises discussing removal of the old refrigerator with your appliance dealer. Keeping it running in a hot garage or barn can increase your energy bill.
Eligibility
- You must be a residential member of Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative and a homeowner.
- The new refrigerator must be ENERGY STAR certified and have a capacity of 10–30 cubic feet. Purchase it between 1 January and 31 December 2026.
- A maximum of two rebates may be paid per residential member during 2026.
- Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis until the funds are depleted.
