Appliance replacement rebates
Residential cooperative members can receive a $100 electricity account credit for replacing an existing refrigerator or freezer with a qualifying new ENERGY STAR appliance.

The appliance route of the marketing rebate programme pays $100 for a refrigerator/freezer combo or a standalone freezer. Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative applies the rebate as a credit to your electric account.
You can receive up to two refrigerator rebates and two freezer rebates per residential member home during the current programme year, which runs through June 30, 2027.
Eligibility
- You must be a residential Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative member replacing an existing refrigerator or standalone freezer. Install the new appliance at your member location.
- The new refrigerator or standalone freezer must have a capacity of 10–30 cubic feet and be ENERGY STAR certified. You must provide proof of that certification; the programme links to ENERGY STAR’s current product specifications.
- Mid-Ohio Energy must verify the purchase and installation through your purchase receipt. Your claim must include proof of purchase, proof of installation and ENERGY STAR certification.
- Purchase and install the appliance during the current programme year. The marketing rebate year runs from July 1 to June 30; an appliance purchased and installed before the current year needs prior approval from Mid-Ohio Energy to qualify.
The cooperative serves parts of Marion, Hardin, Allen, Morrow, Wyandot, Crawford, Union, Auglaize, Logan and Hancock counties in Ohio. The offer is for its residential members, so living in one of these counties alone does not qualify you.

- Purchase and installation must be in the current July–June programme year unless Mid-Ohio Energy has given prior approval for an earlier purchase and installation.
- Maximum two rebates per appliance type per residential member home during this programme year.
After purchasing and installing the qualifying appliance, submit your claim through Mid-Ohio Energy’s online appliance rebate form. Enter your contact and service-address details, appliance count and installation date, and attach the required purchase, installation and certification evidence.
