Electric bike rebate
Get $200 towards a new electric bike from a participating shop if you are a GMP customer replacing fossil-fuel commuting.

This rebate helps you buy a new electric bike for your commute. A participating bike shop provides the $200 rebate when you make your purchase.
Eligibility
- You must be a Green Mountain Power (GMP) customer and provide the shop with your GMP account information from your energy statement.
- Use the new electric bike to replace commuting powered by fossil fuel. Recreational bikes do not qualify.
- The electric bike must cost at least $500 before tax.
- Purchase the electric bike by December 31, 2026.

- The participating-shop route provides the rebate when you purchase an eligible new electric bike.
- Eligible electric bikes must be purchased by December 31, 2026; this is a purchase cutoff.
Buy your eligible new electric bike at a participating shop listed on GMP’s rebate page, such as Vermont Bicycle Shop in Barre or Skirack in Burlington. Give the shop your GMP account information from your energy statement to receive the rebate at purchase.
