LIFE 2026: climate adaptation grants
EU grants covering up to 60% of projects that demonstrate and implement practical climate-adaptation solutions.
Denne finansieringsmulighed er i øjeblikket beskrevet på engelsk.
The call supports projects that strengthen resilience and reduce vulnerability to identified climate risks. Priorities include nature-based solutions, resilient buildings and infrastructure, water management, agriculture and forestry, health, risk tools and preparedness for connected hazards.
Your project must implement adaptation options during the grant, explain the risks and vulnerabilities being addressed, and monitor the results. Tool-development projects must also demonstrate the tools through pilots that implement adaptation measures.
Eligibility
Public bodies, companies and other organisations that can enter contracts in their own name are eligible. The organisation leading the application—the coordinator—must be established in an EU country, Iceland, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Ukraine. Activities must normally take place in those countries; work elsewhere is allowed only when necessary for effective climate action there.
The grant covers no more than 60% of eligible costs, so you need resources for the remaining share. One eligible organisation can apply alone because the call sets no consortium requirement.
