Fonds communal pour l’énergie et le développement durable (FEDD)
Households living in Vevey can receive 50% of the cost of switching bulbs and fluorescent tubes to LEDs, up to CHF 100 under the standard grant.
Denne finansieringsmulighed er i øjeblikket beskrevet på engelsk.
This entry covers the fund’s standard household LED replacement grant. It reimburses eligible lighting purchases that save energy within Vevey. Decorative lighting and fittings with built-in LEDs are excluded.
The action has an annual allocation of CHF 5,000. Awards depend on available funds and are not an entitlement. Other cantonal or federal grants may be combined, but the municipal grant is reduced if combined aid exceeds the actual cost of the work.
Eligibility
- You must live in Vevey, and the lighting must be for your household within the municipality. Only one grant is available per entity.
- The purchase must go beyond cantonal and federal legal requirements. Routine maintenance is excluded. You must contribute your own money or time, clearly state the expected results and allow checks of the result.
- If you communicate or present the project publicly, acknowledge the fund’s financial support.
The general fund rules require completion within two years of the award; otherwise the award expires. Checks may take place during or after the work. If the result is smaller than planned, the grant is reduced proportionately. For an expanded project, a justified request may allow an increase of up to 20% of the original award; this does not replace the standard LED route’s CHF 100 limit.
The municipality cancels, reduces or reclaims grants awarded incorrectly, where the funded work or grant conditions are not fulfilled, funds are misused, the authority is deliberately deceived, or checks are impossible through the applicant’s fault. If a relevant building changes owner while the award is valid, the purchaser must notify the municipality; support normally passes to the new owner.
How to apply
- Status
- Løbende ansøgning
- Vilkår for ansøgningsrunden
- Apply within six months of purchase. Standard household LED route; subject to the CHF 5,000 annual action allocation.
Submit the municipal online LED application within six months of purchase. Provide an itemised invoice and proof of payment. Use the complete, dated and signed municipal form with its annexes; incomplete requests are returned. The acknowledgement date determines priority. Applying before buying is recommended in the directive to check eligibility and available funds, although this route accepts applications after purchase.
The municipality pays after completion, submission of the final account and supporting invoices, and verification of compliance, including an on-site check where necessary. Payment may take up to one year after the final account is presented and goes to the account you designate.
