Building energy assessment grant

Commune de RolleSchweizop til 2,5 t CHF

Building owners in Rolle can receive a grant for an energy study that identifies improvements to an existing building, alongside cantonal support.

Denne finansieringsmulighed er i øjeblikket beskrevet på engelsk.

The municipal grant covers 50% of the study cost left after deducting the cantonal grant, up to CHF 2,500 per study and/or site. The project cap applies to the project defined by its building permit or administrative authorisation, including where it covers several objects. Municipal grants can be combined with other municipal, cantonal and federal grants.

The award lasts 12 months from the positive decision. Payment follows the final account of paid invoices and completed work, validated by the energy and sustainable-development delegate, within the rules’ 30-day payment period. The municipality will not increase its contribution for an overrun and may reduce it proportionally if actual costs are lower. Grants received improperly or used for another purpose must be repaid.

Eligibility

  • You must own the building, and the private project must be in Rolle. Individuals and legal entities can qualify. The canton must already have accepted your application and awarded its own grant.
  • For straightforward residential, administrative or school buildings, use CECB Plus: a cantonal building energy assessment with proposed improvements. A simple CECB is excluded. Specific studies can cover more complex buildings. Use a recognised energy-saving expert; CECB Plus requires an expert accredited by its organisation.
  • Complete the study within 12 months of the decision and give the municipal technical services an original complete copy, including its proposed improvements.
  • The municipality may inspect during or after the project. If ownership changes while the award is valid, the buyer must notify the municipality; the grant normally transfers under the measure’s conditions.

How to apply

Status
Løbende ansøgning
Vilkår for ansøgningsrunden
  • Apply before starting the project; wait for acknowledgement of a complete dossier. Awards depend on the annual budget; excess approved projects may be wait-listed.

Send the dated, signed municipal energy-study application form and all required documents to the Délégué à l’énergie, Services techniques, Grand-Rue 44, 1180 Rolle. Attach the study expert’s quotation and a copy of the grant application validated by the canton.

Apply before carrying out the project. Do not start until you receive acknowledgement that your dossier is complete; the municipality recommends waiting for its decision before starting work. Delivery of materials on site counts as the start of work.

Applications are rolling, subject to the annual municipal budget. If approved projects exceed that budget, they are put on a waiting list for later years, subject to available budgets, in order of receipt of complete dossiers.
