Rebates for SLVREC residential and small-commercial members buying new ENERGY STAR certified electric clothes dryers.

This member rebate programme supports energy efficiency and electrification to reduce carbon emissions. For clothes dryers, the rebate is $30 for an electric resistance model or $90 for a ventless electric heat-pump model. Both must be ENERGY STAR certified. The heat-pump model qualifies for $60 more than the resistance model.
The rebate follows a completed purchase or installed project with paid receipts. A discounted product can receive a smaller rebate, and free products do not qualify.
Eligibility
- You must have an SLVREC member account and buy the dryer for residential or small-commercial use. The application asks for your account number, installation date and installation address.
- Buy new equipment. Used or refurbished dryers are excluded, and the dryer must be ENERGY STAR certified.
- The programme limits rebates to one per account per year unless it specifically states an exception. The dryer route has no stated exception.
- By signing, you release any carbon credits associated with the efficient product to SLV REC and/or Tri-State Generation and Transmission. This gives those organizations the associated carbon credits rather than retaining them yourself. You also certify that your application is complete and correct.

Complete and sign the 2026 rebate application, including your member-account and installation details and the dryer manufacturer, model, type and ENERGY STAR rating. Attach a paid itemized invoice showing the item/model number, price and sale date; receipts must identify the consumer and verify purchase/payment. Submit the complete claim to SLV REC, 3625 US Hwy 160, Monte Vista, CO 81144.
SLVREC processes only claims for items purchased within 90 days of the application. Incomplete applications are not processed. Allow six weeks for processing.
