Norrsken Evolve invests €250,000–€500,000 initially and becomes a part-owner of your company. It can lead a funding round, typically seeking 5% ownership when it does, or invest alongside others. Terms can differ when it joins a round already under way.
For later funding, Evolve commits to investing in proportion to its existing ownership if your company’s valuation increases by 50% in a substantial financing round led by a recognised investor.
Eligibility
The offer is for companies at the earliest funding stage, known as pre-seed. Evolve primarily supports founders from EU member states, EU candidate countries and the UK. It also backs a handful of high-potential companies outside Europe.
Climate-related areas include renewable energy and storage, cleaner transport, low-carbon construction, industrial emissions reduction, and more sustainable food and agriculture.
Every founder receiving investment must join Evolve’s in-person programme, with guidance from its team and experienced founders, investors and operators.
