ezSolarLoan fixed-rate solar loan
Borrow $10,000–$80,000 for a home solar installation in Washington, Oregon or Idaho, with fixed monthly payments and financing that can cover the whole project.

Harborstone Credit Union finances your solar installation through ezSolarLoan. The loan can cover 100% of the project, including installation. You repay the lender through fixed monthly payments.
Choose a 15- or 20-year repayment term. Published annual percentage rates (APR) start at 8.25% for 15 years and 8.75% for 20 years. Your rate depends on your credit score, term and loan programme, and the published terms can change.
There is no origination fee or penalty for repaying early. The lender places a UCC-1 lien, a recorded security claim, on the financed equipment. State and county filing fees are added to your loan and repaid over time; borrowers also pay third-party costs.
The lender pays your installer directly in stages under the contract. You sign a certificate confirming completion before any remaining payment is sent to the installer.
After receiving any tax credits, you can ask about a free, one-time re-amortization: recalculating your repayment schedule.
Eligibility
- You must be a homeowner in Washington, Oregon or Idaho, and everyone with an ownership interest in the home must apply.
- Choose an installer that has completed ezSolarLoan’s setup process and obtain its four-digit Solar Company Identifier (SCI) code.
- Approval depends on a credit assessment. Provide contact, employment and income information for every borrower and authorize a credit inquiry. Income verification is required for loans over $50,000 and may also be requested for smaller loans.
- You must join Harborstone Credit Union. If you live, work and worship outside Washington, the lender helps you join Solar United Neighbors free of charge to qualify for credit-union membership. You do not have to contribute money to Solar United Neighbors or keep that membership after your loan is issued.

Apply through the ezSolarLoan homeowner page using your installer’s SCI code. You can apply before or after receiving a contractor’s bid. Enter the requested amount, desired term, installer name and borrower information.
