Home insulation subsidy
Up to €1,750 towards replacement insulating glass for owner-occupiers of poorly insulated homes in Maasgouw.
Diese Finanzierungsmöglichkeit ist derzeit auf Englisch beschrieben.
Replace existing windows with HR++ insulating glass through the municipality’s supported contractor offer. This page covers ordinary homes with energy labels D, E, F or G and 3–45 m² of replacement glass. HR++ glass must have a U-value of no more than 1.2 W/m²K, the measure of heat passing through the glass.
The municipality covers 100% of reasonable eligible direct costs, including VAT, up to €1,750 per home. Under this route, the subsidy is deducted from your invoice and paid to the contractor; you do not have to advance the subsidised part. Other grants may be combined, but total grant funding cannot exceed your actual total costs.
Only new, unused energy-saving materials qualify. Tools, ladders, construction and finishing materials, and permit or exemption application costs are excluded.
Eligibility
- You must own the home in Maasgouw and use it as your main residence. It must be directly accessible at street level, with a floor at ground level, and have energy label D, E, F or G. You can check the label through Energielabel.
- This page covers homes built before 1 January 2019, without monument status, and with a WOZ value below €429,300 at the valuation date of 1 January 2022. WOZ is the officially assessed property value; check it in the WOZ-waardeloket.
- Homes managed by an owners’ association (VvE), including mixed owner/tenant associations, are excluded. Only one municipal grant application is allowed per address; an already subsidised home cannot receive another award.
- Replace existing glass in the existing home. Extensions, new dormers, sheds, garages and detached outbuildings are excluded. The work must be technically feasible. Use a construction company arranged through Duurzaam Bouwloket, the municipality’s intermediary; the company must be registered in the construction sector in an EU or EEA trade register.
- Any required environmental permit or exemption must be final before the grant can be awarded. New measures using UF foam receive no subsidy.
