Green energy loan
Borrow up to NOK 500,000 to improve an older home’s energy performance, with separate qualifying routes for planned and completed renovations.
Diese Finanzierungsmöglichkeit ist derzeit auf Englisch beschrieben.
Finance solar panels, ground-source heating or other heat pumps, insulation, and replacement windows or doors in houses and cabins.
Ørskog Sparebank lends the money for the improvements and also offers refinancing for homes already upgraded. You repay the borrowing with interest and fees over an agreed term of up to 30 years. The loan is an annuity loan: repayments combine interest and a portion of the borrowed amount.
The published nominal interest rate is 5.35%. Its effective annual rate, including borrowing costs, is 5.86% in the bank’s example of NOK 500,000 repaid over 25 years. That example has NOK 434,718 in costs and NOK 934,718 in total repayments. Published fees are NOK 70 per automatic-debit instalment, an establishment fee from NOK 4,500, and a NOK 1,000 security-document fee, plus registration charges at the applicable official rates.
Eligibility
You must use Ørskog Sparebank as your main bank.
- For planned work, the home must achieve both at least 30% energy savings and energy class D or better after the improvements. The bank offers guidance on the energy-saving requirement.
- For completed work, the home must have improved by two energy-label levels, such as F to D, and must now have a rating of at least D.
The energy label records the home’s energy class. You can find it in a property-sale prospectus or obtain it through Enova by entering the type of home, construction year, usable floor area and heating method.
