Toekomstbestendig Wonen personal loan
Borrow for insulation, solar panels and other approved improvements to an existing home you own and occupy in Brummen.
Αυτή η ευκαιρία είναι προς το παρόν διαθέσιμη στα Αγγλικά.
Finance energy improvements such as roof, floor or cavity-wall insulation, HR++ or triple glazing, solar panels, and a hybrid heat pump. Necessary building alterations can also be financed, such as adapting the roof when insulating it. Your plan must include at least one energy measure.
The personal loan is €2,500–€35,000. The €35,000 ceiling includes multiple applications by the same applicant for the same home under this scheme. The term is 10 years up to €15,000 and 15 years from €15,001. The currently published interest rate is 2.6%, fixed for the loan term; SVn uses the rate applicable when it receives your application. You repay principal and interest in fixed monthly instalments, reducing the debt over time. There is no mortgage security and no closing fee; any financial adviser is at your own expense.
SVn pays approved invoices from a building deposit, normally directly to the contractor. If you have paid an invoice yourself, reimbursement requires proof of payment and approval. You pay any shortfall yourself and cannot add your own money to the deposit. The deposit normally lasts 12 months, with one extension of up to 12 months on request. It closes when the money is used or the work is complete, and any remaining balance reduces your loan. SVn may close it after six months without transactions.
You must repay even if your contractor fails to fulfil the agreement. You can repay early without a fee, with a minimum extra payment of €250. Late payments can incur statutory interest and administration or collection costs. SVn can require immediate repayment after at least two months of arrears that persist after formal notice, moving your permanent residence out of the Netherlands or reasonably being expected to do so within a few months, declared bankruptcy or entry into the statutory personal debt-restructuring scheme, material deliberate misinformation or misuse of the loan, or death where SVn has grounds to expect non-payment.
Eligibility
- This entry covers the personal loan for owner-occupiers. Own an existing home in Brummen and occupy it as your main residence, or intend to do so. The ordinance defines the home as directly accessible from street level, with at least one storey at ground level; apartments in an owners’ association are excluded from this individual route.
- Co-owners apply together. At least one applicant must be younger than 76 when applying to SVn. Joint borrowers are each responsible for the entire debt.
- Include at least one energy measure, and obtain municipal approval for the measures and their actual costs. Cavity-wall insulation must be carried out by a company using the Natuurvriendelijk Isoleren method; the rules point to certified companies at natuurvriendelijkisoleren.nl. Arrange any required permit yourself.
- Do not start work before SVn approves your application. SVn checks whether your income, household and housing/work situation are stable enough to pay the additional monthly instalments alongside your existing commitments. Home equity does not determine this credit assessment.
