Energy-efficient appliance rebates
Rebates for cooperative members buying new ENERGY STAR clothes washers, dishwashers, freezers or refrigerators for their homes.

Get $50 per clothes washer and $25 per dishwasher, freezer or refrigerator. Total appliance rebates are limited to $250 per account per year.
Calhoun County Electric Cooperative credits rebates below $100 to your electricity account. It pays rebates above $100 by check, 1 to 5 weeks after approving the application.
Eligibility
You must be a cooperative member and install the appliance at your location served by Calhoun County Electric Cooperative in its Iowa service area. The appliance must be new and ENERGY STAR rated; check the rating on its yellow packaging label or at energystar.gov.
Rebates for new buildings or additional equipment that does not replace existing capacity may differ. Contact the cooperative about these projects.
The cooperative may inspect your home or equipment and verify the claim before issuing a rebate. It may change incentive levels or end the programme at any time without notice.

Review the Energy Star Appliance Rebate form before purchasing. Complete all information, sign the member certification confirming installation at your cooperative-served location, and include a dated itemized sales receipt and ENERGY STAR documentation. Submit the claim and required documents within six months of purchase.
