Energy saving loan
A €1,000–€29,000 loan for owner-occupiers improving the energy performance of an existing home in the Netherlands.

Use the loan for approved measures such as insulation, efficient heating or other listed energy improvements. The money is held in a construction deposit and invoices are paid directly to your contractor or installer.
Households with gross annual income below €60,000 can receive 0% interest. If you live with a partner, both incomes are included. You apply for the standard loan; Nationaal Warmtefonds checks whether the 0% rate applies when it assesses your finances.
Eligibility
You must own the home in the Netherlands and live there permanently. It must be an existing home rather than a new build, and the work must meet the minimum requirements for an approved measure.

Choose the measures and obtain contractor quotes. Apply online to Nationaal Warmtefonds, upload the requested income, expense and project documents, and review the loan offer. After you sign an accepted offer, submit contractor invoices through Mijn Warmtefonds for payment from the construction deposit.
