Loan for improving home energy efficiency
An unsecured loan for individuals in Latvia buying solar panels, heat pumps and other listed home-energy equipment, with a fixed 5.9% interest rate.

You can finance solar panels, a heat pump, a wind turbine, electricity-storage batteries, electric-vehicle charging equipment or a pellet boiler using wood biomass. Other environmentally friendly purchases are assessed through the separate generic consumer-loan offer.
Borrow EUR 1,000–25,000 and repay it in monthly instalments over one to seven years. The fixed interest rate is 5.9% for the loan term, and you do not need collateral or a down payment.
The standard arrangement fee is 1% of the approved loan, with a minimum of EUR 90, payable when you sign. There is no monthly loan administration fee. The bank’s repayment example includes a separate current-account charge of EUR 1 per month.
Eligibility
You must reside in Latvia. The bank assesses your income, existing debts and credit history. Loan and interest repayments, including your other loan and lease payments, may not exceed 40% of your net income.
You and any co-borrower must have a current account with SEB banka by signing and keep it throughout the loan term. Keep enough money in the account for the monthly payments. The bank may request documents showing that you used the loan for its stated purpose.

Apply in SEB banka’s internet bank and select “Improving home energy efficiency” as the purpose. If your salary is not paid into an account with the bank, submit evidence of your income, such as an account statement for the last six months.
The bank will contact you with an offer or additional questions. After a positive decision, sign the loan agreement in the internet bank.
