KOMPAS provides venture capital for technology businesses in physical industries. Founders seeking this equity investment should expect to exchange part of the company’s ownership for capital.
Its current Fund II lists initial investments of €1 million–€5 million. This is KOMPAS’s initial company investment, separate from the size of the company’s full fundraising round. The team also helps with commercial progress, strategy and introductions to industrial partners and customers.
Climate-relevant opportunities include reducing industrial emissions through materials and circular production, reducing emissions from building energy use and from the materials and construction of buildings, and managing climate risks. The wider portfolio also includes productivity and digital technology businesses; climate fit depends on what the proposed solution does.
Eligibility
The stated stages run from seed to Series B: from developing an early business toward expanding its commercial operations. The geographic focus is Europe, North America and Israel.
The live pitch form excludes agricultural technology, food technology and mobility solutions. It also says funding rounds under $1 million are too early for KOMPAS. Assess this threshold against your full round, separately from the investor’s euro-denominated initial investment range.
