Borrow SEK 30,000–350,000 for changes that reduce energy use in your home, including insulation, replacement windows and more efficient appliances.

You can borrow for home improvements that reduce energy use, such as extra insulation, replacement windows or appliances, wind-power shares, and heating systems using district or local heat or pellets. The bank directs solar-panel purchases to its separate Sollån product.
This is money you must repay to Sparbanken Nord with interest. The published interest rate is 4.90%. The setup fee is SEK 495, or SEK 0 for Nyckelkund customers. Electronic invoices cost SEK 0; postal invoices cost SEK 45 each.
The repayment period is 1–12 years, depending on the loan amount and purpose. To make an extra repayment or repay the loan early, contact the bank by phone or visit a branch.
Eligibility
- You must invest in solutions that can reduce energy use in your home.
- You must be at least 18 and have regular income that is not benefits, student aid or similar payments.
- Your finances must allow you to pay the loan costs, and you must have no recorded payment defaults.
- You must be a bank customer. New customers can join with Mobile BankID before applying, or get help by phone or at a branch.

The bank begins paying out the loan after it approves your application and receives your signed documents.
