Green loans
Loans for businesses switching to electric vehicles, generating renewable electricity or reducing energy use in buildings.
You can finance projects such as electric vehicle fleets, solar or wind power, and energy improvements in residential or commercial buildings.
Eligibility
The requirements depend on what you want to finance. The bank's Green Finance Framework has separate rules for areas such as transport, energy generation and buildings.
A major energy renovation must reduce annual energy use per heated square metre by at least 30%. Individual installations, such as insulation or solar panels on the building, have their own criteria. The 30% threshold does not apply to every improvement.
Go through the relevant project category with Danske Bank. You must show what your business will use the loan for and keep reporting on that use throughout the loan term.
