Home energy loan
Borrow SEK 30,000–350,000 for improvements that reduce your home’s energy use, including insulation, replacement windows and appliances.
The bank lends you money for energy-saving improvements, which you repay with interest. Examples include extra insulation, replacement windows or household appliances, wind-power shares, and heating using district or local networks or pellets. Solar-panel purchases are directed to the separate solar loan.
The published variable interest rate is 4.90%. Repayment takes 1–12 years, depending on the loan amount and purpose. The setup fee is SEK 550, waived for Nyckelkund customers. Electronic invoices are free; postal invoices cost SEK 45 each. Contact the bank if you want to make an extra repayment or repay the loan early.
Eligibility
Your investment must be in solutions that can reduce energy use in your home. You must be at least 18 and have regular income that is not benefits, student finance or similar payments. You need room in your budget to cover the loan costs and must have no recorded payment defaults.
