Equity investment of €3–20 million for energy and climate technology startups in Europe and North America, from Series A development beyond the initial seed stage through later business growth.
The International Fund invests in companies building energy and climate technology, covering both software and hardware. It takes the leading investor role in a company’s funding round, which can also include other investors. For example, Statkraft Ventures led Wakeo’s funding round alongside its existing investors. The fund provides capital in return for a share of your company.
The published investment range is €3–20 million. The team also supports companies as they scale their business, drawing on experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship and company building.
Eligibility
- Your company must be a startup working in energy or climate technology.
- The fund starts at Series A: the stage beyond initial seed-stage development, when a young company is seeking investment to expand its business. It continues through the growth stage. An initial seed round is outside this stated scope. Both software and hardware companies are within scope.
- Its investment geography is Europe and North America.
