Public transport season-ticket rebate
Residents can recover 25% of the cost of a personalised public transport subscription bought in 2026, up to CHF 250 per person for the year.

The municipal Energiefonds reimburses part of your public transport subscription cost. Examples include a Generalabonnement (GA) travelcard and monthly or annual Ostwind subscriptions. The annual maximum of CHF 250 per resident includes VAT.
Eligibility
- You must live in Wittenbach.
- Your personalised public transport subscription must have been bought between 1 January and 31 December 2026.
- Half-fare subscriptions (Halbtax) are excluded.

- Only personalised public transport subscriptions purchased from 1 January to 31 December 2026 qualify. Claims must be submitted with all required documents by 15 January 2027.[^c4][^c5]
Download and complete the 2026 form. Provide your personal and subscription details and bank or post account for the reimbursement. Attach a copy of the invoice or receipt showing the purchase date and price, plus a copy of your personalised subscription, such as a SwissPass. Sign and date the declaration confirming that your information is truthful and you meet the conditions.
Send the complete claim by 15 January 2027 to bauverwaltung@wittenbach.ch, or deliver or post it to Gemeinde Wittenbach, Bauverwaltung, Dottenwilerstrasse 2, 9300 Wittenbach. Incomplete claims cannot be processed.
