Rainwater collector grant

Pré-Bocage IntercomFranciacierra 31 dic 2026

Residents of Pré-Bocage Intercom can receive help to buy a rainwater tank of at least 300 litres for their home.

Esta oportunidad está disponible actualmente en inglés.

This entry covers household collectors for outdoor uses such as watering the garden or washing a vehicle. The programme preserves water resources as part of the intercommunal climate plan.

For a tank of at least 300 litres and less than 1,000 litres, the grant pays 50% of the purchase price, up to €100. For a tank of at least 1,000 litres, it pays 30%, up to €800. New and second-hand equipment can qualify with a paid invoice. The tank and tap are eligible; transport, installation, labour and related accessories are excluded.

Eligibility

You must be an adult resident of Pré-Bocage Intercom, and install the equipment at your home within its territory. Owners, tenants and people living there free of charge can apply, without an income test. Tenants and free occupants need written permission from the owner.

  • Buy a tank-and-tap kit of at least 300 litres between 1 January and 31 December 2026. Only one grant is available per address per year, for one capacity band.
  • Collect rainwater from roofs that are not accessible for ordinary use. Rainwater is not drinking water: do not use it for drinking, preparing food, washing dishes or personal hygiene. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, maintain the inlet filter, and place an above-ground tank on a stable, smooth, level base away from surface runoff. The technical annex shows non-drinking-water signage and a backflow valve. Allow water-service inspections; contact that service to arrange a check for domestic use. If used rainwater enters the public sewer, declare the installation to the town hall.
  • Keep the collector installed throughout the two-year agreement, which starts when both parties sign. Do not resell it for two years after payment. Answer any programme evaluation surveys during the agreement. Pré-Bocage Intercom may seek repayment if you breach your commitments.

Condiciones de la convocatoria
  • 2026 purchases and applications; subject to available funds. Article 9 separately gives 31 January 2027 as the final filing date.

Buy the eligible equipment and obtain a paid invoice in your name showing your first name, address, tank capacity and price; a till receipt is not accepted. Complete and sign the 2026 application form. Attach the invoice copy, bank account details in your name, proof of address less than three months old and, where required, the owner’s written consent.

Send the file to the Service Développement Durable at resp.dev.durable@pbi14.fr, or deliver or post it to Pré-Bocage Intercom, 31 rue de Vire, Aunay-sur-Odon, 14260 Les Monts d’Aunay. Submit by 31 December 2026, while funds remain, to meet the intake period on the programme page. The rules also give 31 January 2027 as the final filing deadline; submitting during 2026 meets both dates.

Files are considered in arrival order within the available budget. The authority assesses admissibility within 60 days and requests missing documents if needed. After a favourable assessment, the Bureau Communautaire decides the award; you receive a letter and must return the dated, signed agreement. Payment follows within 90 days of its receipt.

You must certify that the application and supporting documents are accurate and supply any further information needed to assess the file. A false declaration invalidates the application and requires repayment.
