Workplace Charging Scheme
A grant for UK businesses, charities and public-sector organizations installing electric-vehicle chargepoints for workplaces, staff or fleets.

The grant covers up to 75% of purchase and installation costs, including VAT, capped at £500 per socket. One applicant can receive support for up to 40 sockets across all sites.
Eligibility
- Your organization and installation site must be in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. The Channel Islands and Isle of Man are excluded.
- You must own the site or have the owner’s permission. Existing off-road parking must be associated with the workplace and designated to your organization.
- For a business, the parking must be for staff or fleet use rather than solely for customers. Different user rules apply to charities, public authorities and small accommodation businesses.
- The installation cannot be one already required by building or planning rules. You must use an authorized installer.
- Unless you are a public authority, the grant must not take your organization above £315,000 in minimal financial assistance over the current and previous two financial years.

Apply through the Workplace Charging Scheme online form before installation. If approved, you receive a voucher code to give to an authorized commercial chargepoint installer. The voucher lasts 180 days; the installer must complete the work and claim the grant before it expires.
