Hart voor Thuis home insulation grant

Gemeente Peel en MaasPaíses Bajos250–4,2 mil EURcierra 31 dic 2027

A municipal grant of up to €4,200 for lower-income owner-occupiers insulating an existing home in Peel en Maas.

Esta oportunidad está disponible actualmente en inglés.

The municipal grant pays 100% of eligible purchase costs and installation costs by a recognised contractor, including VAT, up to €4,200 per application. Requests below €250 are refused. Payment goes to the intermediary when you authorise it in writing.

You can insulate a roof, attic floor, external wall, cavity wall, floor or ground below the home, or replace glazing. Energy-efficient ventilation is supported only together with insulation.

The technical list requires at least 10 m² for external-wall or cavity-wall insulation, 20 m² for roof, attic-floor, floor or ground insulation, and 8 m² for HR++ or triple glazing. The added insulation must have Rd of at least 3.5 m²K/W, except cavity-wall insulation, which needs at least 1.1. Rd measures resistance to heat passing through the insulation. HR++ glazing needs Ug at most 1.2 W/m²K; triple glazing needs Ug at most 0.7 and a new insulating frame with Uf at most 1.5. These U-values measure heat loss through glass or frames. Panels qualify only with the matching glazing: Ug at most 1.2 for HR++ or 0.7 for triple. Doors need U at most 1.5 with HR++ or 1.0 with triple. Insulating frames need U at most 1.5 and matching HR++ or triple glazing. Ventilation can be CO₂-controlled or balanced ventilation with heat recovery; the latter needs at least 90% efficiency.

Eligibility

  • You must own the home and be registered as living there. It must be an existing, completed house intended for permanent residence in Peel en Maas, rather than an apartment, with energy label D, E, F or G, including an indicative label. If your home has no registered label, the intake route accepts registrations when at least two insulation measures are still needed, from floor, wall, glazing and roof insulation. The municipality makes the final eligibility decision.
  • Your annual gross income must be no higher than 150% of the applicable social minimum: the social-assistance standard for your situation, including holiday allowance, on 1 January of the application year. The home’s WOZ assessed value, using reference year 2025, must be at most €435,000.
  • Work must be on the home’s existing walls, roof, windows, doors or floor that face outside air or the ground. New extensions, sheds, garages and detached outbuildings are excluded, as is work already required by law. The measures must not have been carried out before the scheme entered into force on 5 August 2026, and invoices must not predate publication of the scheme.
  • No previous grant under this scheme may have been awarded for the same home. The work must be technically feasible, lawful and meet the technical list’s performance, area and combination requirements.
  • Complete the work by 31 March 2028, obtain any required permits and permissions, cooperate with municipal checks and follow any additional conditions in your award. Notify the municipality immediately if work will not be completed or grant obligations cannot be met, and report relevant changes in writing. Give the intermediary complete and accurate information and report changes affecting the application; incorrect or incomplete information can lead to refusal or recovery.
