Crédito Pessoal Caixa Casa Amiga do Ambiente finances works and equipment to improve a home’s energy performance. Eligible examples include renewable heating and hot water, electricity generation and storage for your own use, roof or wall insulation, efficient windows and solar shading. The offer also covers lighting, lifts, ventilation, consumption-management systems, the energy component of building water-supply and drainage networks, heat-recovery stoves, water heaters and boilers, domestic air conditioning, and heating and hot-water equipment.
You can borrow €2,500–€75,000 over 24–120 months. The full loan is released when you sign, and you repay capital and interest in monthly instalments. The interest rate is variable: it follows 12-month Euribor, a reference interest rate, plus the bank’s margin. The page’s 6.1% annual percentage rate is a representative example using September 2026 Euribor, not a guaranteed rate for your loan. Stamp duty is charged on credit use and interest.
Life insurance and credit-protection insurance are optional. Life insurance covers the remaining debt on death or absolute permanent incapacity through illness or accident; credit-protection insurance covers instalments during sick leave or involuntary unemployment.
Eligibility
The offer is for private customers financing energy improvements in residential buildings. This is personal credit for purposes that are neither commercial nor professional. A primary home, second home or home for rental can qualify.
You must be at least 18 when applying and no older than 80 at the end of the contract. Initial assessment or contracting fees may apply depending on the loan purpose, your relationship with Caixa and any applicable agreement with the bank.
You may repay all or part early with at least 30 days’ notice on paper or another durable medium. No early repayment fee applies while the contractual interest rate is variable, as it is for this offer.

Request this loan at a Caixa Geral de Depósitos branch or use the product page’s contact request. The bank also provides online personal-credit requests through Caixadirecta or its app.
For a branch request, bring your identity card and tax-number card, or Citizen Card; your latest income-tax return and assessment; the latest pay slip for each household member; and an employer declaration confirming your employment relationship. Complete the remaining request documents at the branch. If guarantors are required, they must provide the same identity, income and employment documents. For a Caixadirecta request, the listed documents are uploaded after credit approval.
