Congruent Ventures invests in companies developing climate solutions through hardware, software or new ways of doing business. Its themes include clean energy, transport, food and agriculture, and industrial innovation.
This is venture investment, not a grant. With this type of funding, an investor normally provides money in exchange for a share of ownership and an active role in the company.
Eligibility
- Your team must be based in North America.
- Initial investments range from setting up a company through Series A—a funding round that can follow the company's initial startup funding.
- Congruent particularly invites companies seeking their first, or occasionally second, round of funding from professional investment organisations.
Congruent also supports companies as they grow. Its Continuity Fund provides later-stage investment in companies it has already backed; that does not extend the initial-investment stage range.
