Residential LED lighting rebates
Residential utility customers can receive a rebate for replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs or installing new LED lighting.
Esta oportunidad está disponible actualmente en inglés.
The rebate pays $0.20 for each watt saved, measured using the wattage printed on the bulbs, up to the purchase price of the new lighting. For a new installation, savings are calculated against equivalent incandescent lighting. MMU recommends applying for at least $25, but describes this as a recommendation.
After MMU receives your completed application, it pays the rebate through a credit on your next utility bill or a check. Rebates below $100 are automatically credited to the bill; a check is issued for rebates over $100 or for budget-bill customers.
Eligibility
You must be a residential Marshall Municipal Utilities customer. The lighting rebate covers replacing inefficient incandescent bulbs with high-efficiency LED lighting, and new installations also qualify.
MMU recommends ENERGY STAR qualified lighting.
