Energy efficiency rebates
Residential cooperative members can receive $1,000 per qualifying heat-pump water heater, limited by its purchase cost.
Esta oportunidad está disponible actualmente en inglés.
This entry covers the heat-pump water-heater option in Heartland Power Cooperative’s energy efficiency and conservation rebates. The cooperative approves and issues a rebate toward your equipment purchase.
The rate is $1,000 per unit. The general rebate limit is the purchase cost; the water-heating rules also limit support to purchase and installation or repair costs. The purchase-cost limit still applies.
Eligibility
- You must be a Heartland Power Cooperative member; this entry covers residential use.
- Your heat-pump water heater must have a uniform energy factor (UEF) of at least 2.20. Your invoice or receipt must show the equipment’s efficiency. The heat-pump option does not require participation in the cooperative’s load-control programme. Tankless water heaters are excluded.
- The equipment must be purchased and/or installed during 2026. Rebates are available through 31 December 2026 or until funds are depleted.
