Communities for NatureGlobalhasta 2 mil GBPcierra 30 nov 2026

Grants of up to £2,000 for community-led climate-resilience projects by Communities for Nature partners and groups in their partner communities.

Esta oportunidad está disponible actualmente en inglés.

The Green Spark Fund supports locally led projects that help communities adapt to climate change and strengthen their ability to respond. The programme operates around the world.

Alongside a grant, Communities for Nature offers practical support, mentoring and opportunities to connect and learn. The grant can help a local idea get started or help existing work develop.

Eligibility

  • Apply as an existing Communities for Nature (CfN) partner delivering projects with your community, or as a group in a community that a CfN partner works with.
  • Eligible groups include community-based organisations, local charities and nonprofits, environmental and conservation groups, Indigenous and local community organisations, youth-led initiatives, women’s groups and cooperatives, and social enterprises with community and environmental impact.
  • You do not need to be registered or have years of experience. You need a strong idea, a clear connection to your community and the drive to deliver it.
  • Your project should involve the community strongly and deliver positive environmental and/or social outcomes. For the climate-resilience route described here, it should help the community adapt and strengthen local capacity.

Selection looks for community ownership and participation, clear impact, practical activities, outcomes that last beyond the funding period, opportunities for learning and wider community engagement, and a realistic budget.
