Sustainable mobility in companies grant
Grants for Swiss companies to develop mobility plans and help staff and customers adopt more sustainable travel.
Tämän rahoitusmahdollisuuden kuvaus on toistaiseksi englanniksi.
Fund a company mobility plan, including travel surveys, analysis of existing travel and feasibility studies, followed by an action plan with priorities and monitoring. Communication to support implementation can include workshops, staff involvement and awareness activities.
The supported themes cover walking, cycling and public transport; shared travel, shuttles and mobility hubs; the first and last parts of journeys; logistics; and electric fleets and charging. Planning or communication about these measures can qualify, but buying vehicles, building infrastructure and paying for public-transport or bicycle tickets and passes cannot.
The grant pays up to 40% of eligible project costs, capped at CHF 15,000 per project. You must have secured the remaining financing of at least 60% when applying. Your own work can count, as can external advice. Only actual costs necessary to carry out the project efficiently qualify; include any income in your cost accounts and do not make a profit during the subsidised phase.
Eligibility
- Your company can be taking its first steps towards sustainable mobility or building on earlier measures. Show management support, name those responsible for the project and explain the expected effects.
- The project must include mobility planning, communication supporting implementation, or both, and fit the call's mobility themes and practical applications: business travel, including service trips with or without goods; commuting; or customer or visitor travel.
- The project you request funding for must not already be under implementation. Costs incurred before the contract is concluded are excluded.
- Follow-up applications for projects already supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy or another federal office, and projects already supported by those offices, are excluded. Projects overlapping other federal or cantonal programmes, or programmes supported by them, are also excluded.
EnergieSchweiz assesses the project’s CO₂ or energy-efficiency effects, expected results, transferability and scalability, quality, budget, management backing and clear responsibilities. Applications are handled in order of receipt; if demand exceeds funding, the best-scoring applications are selected. There is no entitlement to a grant, and the requested amount can be reduced.

At project completion, submit the required completion and accounting forms, a detailed final account and a final report for approval.
