Energy grants for heat pumps and home EV chargers
Grants of €250 for an electric heating heat pump or €100 for a home EV charger for eligible Stadtwerke Detmold customers.

The Energie-Förderprogramm supports investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency. This entry covers its electric heating heat-pump and home EV charger (wallbox) options.
The subsidy is paid into your bank account after your supporting documents pass review. Each invoice recipient can receive one subsidy per measure during the funding period. There is no legal entitlement to funding.
Eligibility
- You must have an electricity or gas supply contract with Stadtwerke Detmold. For both options covered here, the building must receive electricity from Stadtwerke Detmold.
- You must be the invoice recipient and provide proof of building ownership, using a property-tax assessment or land-register extract.
- The electric heating heat pump must have energy-efficiency class A+++ or A++; provide proof of that class.
- For a wallbox, provide the vehicle registration document. For a company vehicle, written confirmation from the company or the vehicle registration document is accepted.
- Work must be carried out and completed between 1 January and 31 December 2026, with an invoice dated in 2026. Start only after receiving the application receipt confirmation.

Submit the complete, correctly filled and signed 2026 application to Stadtwerke Detmold before carrying out the measure. Send it to energieservice@stadtwerke-detmold.de, post it or deliver it in person to Am Gelskamp 10, 32758 Detmold.
Wait for the receipt confirmation before starting work. The confirmation lists documents still needed. Submit these by 31 December 2026, including the installer’s final invoice showing the installation date and the required ownership and equipment or vehicle evidence. Photos alone do not replace the required documents. Funding ends earlier if the allocation is exhausted.
