Green Generation Fund provides venture capital in exchange for a company ownership stake. Its published tickets range from €500,000 to €2.5 million, from pre-seed and seed through Series A: the earliest stages of building a company and raising capital to grow it.
This opportunity covers the climate-relevant part of a broader food, agriculture, energy and resources strategy. Relevant businesses reduce or remove greenhouse-gas emissions, improve resilience to climate change, or conserve water, materials and other finite resources. The fund also backs deep technology, including energy, robotics, synthetic biology and chemistry.

Eligibility
The fund looks for early-stage companies with high growth potential and a strong founding team. Their environmental or human-health impact must be quantifiable; for this climate opportunity, explain the emissions, resilience or resource benefit. Its impact assessment looks for significant outcomes within eight years.
Screening covers the business, technology, finances, legal position and impact. Companies must pass good-governance and “do no significant harm” checks: the intended benefit must not come with significant damage to other sustainability objectives. Checks include international business-conduct, labour and human-rights standards. Excluded business activities include alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, pornography and fossil fuels.
Founders commit to supplying impact data through the term sheet and shareholder agreement. Portfolio companies report progress on relevant impact indicators quarterly, with annual external verification of positive and negative sustainability indicators.
