Home insulation grant
Up to €2,000 for owner-occupiers in Heerde to improve poorly insulated parts of their home.
Tämän rahoitusmahdollisuuden kuvaus on toistaiseksi englanniksi.
The standard municipal grant helps pay for replacement wall, floor or ground, roof or attic-floor insulation, and insulating glass, window-frame panels or doors. Cavity-wall insulation is excluded. Ventilation may accompany insulation but is not subsidised on its own.
The €2,000 limit applies per dwelling across all measures. Your award cannot exceed actual costs after deducting other grants for the same work. You can claim each activity only once, and must choose between floor and ground insulation, and between roof and attic-floor insulation. DIY installation is allowed, but your own labour is not reimbursed.
Eligibility
- You own and live in the home in Heerde. The property must have a WOZ value (the municipality’s assessed property value) of no more than €493,000 at the valuation date of 1 January 2024. This standard application route covers homes with energy label D, E, F or G, or label C with at least two poorly insulated elements.
- The dwelling, including an apartment, must have been lived in before renovation and be registered with a residential use in Heerde’s address and building register.
- Check that you meet the conditions before starting. Work completed before 7 February 2024 is not eligible. The insulation must replace an outdated element, be physically and permanently installed, and improve a poorly insulated part of the home. The municipality may refuse costs that are disproportionate to the result. The municipality may refuse environmentally harmful insulation materials, including sheep wool and sprayed polyurethane (PUR) foam using hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) propellants.
- Poorly insulated parts include roofs with less than 9 cm insulation or Rc ≤ 2.0; walls without cavity-wall insulation, an insulated internal lining or external insulation (Rc ≤ 1.1); floors/ground with less than 5 cm insulation or Rc ≤ 1.3; and single, old double or HR glazing with Ug ≥ 1.6. Rc measures existing construction thermal resistance; Ug measures heat passing through glass. An attic-floor alternative requires an unheated attic with a closed hatch or door and no existing attic-floor insulation (Rc ≤ 0.5).
- New wall insulation needs Rd ≥ 3.5 m²K/W over at least 10 m². Floor, ground, roof and attic-floor insulation need Rd ≥ 3.5 over at least 20 m². Rd measures the insulating material’s thermal resistance. Glass and panels need U ≤ 1.2 W/m²K over at least 3 m²; insulating doors need U ≤ 1.5 over at least 3 m² and must accompany glass or panels. U measures heat loss: a lower number means less heat passes through. DIY work is exempt from minimum areas, but must meet the thermal values.
