Heat pump rebate
Cooperative members can receive $700 for a new air-source heat pump, or up to $700 for mini-splits, in homes and businesses without an existing air-source heat pump.

The rebate supports new air-source heat pumps in Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative members’ homes and businesses. The payment is $700 for an air-source heat pump. For mini-splits, it is $350 per head, with a maximum of $700 in total.
Eastern Illini mails the rebate directly to the member after installation.
Eligibility
- You must be an Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative member installing the system in your home or business. The cooperative serves rural east-central Illinois.
- The programme is for members who do not already have an air-source heat pump. Replacing a current heat pump does not qualify.
- Get programme preapproval before purchasing the system and approval before installation. Purchase the new air-source heat pump or mini-split from an approved contractor.
- The system must be purchased after 16 February 2026.

Download the rebate request form and return it to Eastern Illini to request preapproval before purchase and installation. Use the approved-contractor list to select a contractor.
