Apply through Community West Credit Union’s online loan application. Both members and nonmembers can submit a loan request. For an auto loan, prepare an unexpired government photo ID, income and employment information, and your mortgage or rent payment information. Vehicle details, including year, make, model, style, mileage and VIN, can help the lender process your request.

Nonmembers should also prepare their Social Security number, mother’s maiden name, proof of their current address if their ID shows a different address, and the $5 savings deposit for membership. The checklist accepts a utility or telephone bill, vehicle or voter registration, or lease agreement as address evidence. Additional documents may be requested and are subject to credit union review.
