Geothermal heat-pump rebate
A $1,000-per-ton rebate for Harmon Electric members installing qualifying geothermal heating and cooling in their homes.
Tämän rahoitusmahdollisuuden kuvaus on toistaiseksi englanniksi.
The rebate is calculated from system capacity: a qualifying four-ton unit receives $4,000. A ton is the unit used to size heating and cooling equipment. Harmon Electric pays the member by check after the system has been installed and inspected.
Eligibility
- You must be a Harmon Electric member installing a qualifying geothermal system for your home. The cooperative serves parts of Harmon, Greer, Jackson, Kiowa and Beckham counties in Oklahoma and Hardeman and Childress counties in Texas.
- Closed-loop systems must achieve at least 15.9 EER and 3.3 COP; open-loop systems must achieve at least 18.0 EER and 3.6 COP. EER and COP are the cooling and heating efficiency ratings. The minimums use AHRI ratings during second-stage operation.
- Use a pre-qualified installer, who performs a Manual J calculation to determine the heating and cooling capacity your home needs.
- Replacing an existing ground-source heat pump with another ground-source heat pump does not qualify.
