Energy funding programme: solar electricity storage

Stadt ZugSuisse1–10 k CHF

A grant for private individuals and companies installing storage of at least 6 kWh alongside solar panels to increase their own use of solar electricity in the city of Zug.

Cette fiche est actuellement disponible en anglais.

The Energieförderprogramm contributes 20% of planning, installation or construction costs for electricity storage combined with a photovoltaic (PV) system. Storage must help you use more of the electricity your solar panels generate. The contribution is capped at CHF 10,000 per system.

Eligibility

  • Combine the storage system with a PV installation and provide at least 6 kWh of storage capacity.
  • Measures must normally have their effect within the city of Zug.
  • Submit a cost estimate. The calculated contribution must reach at least CHF 1,000.
  • Other funding programmes normally take precedence: city support is available only to the extent that the maximum contribution cannot already be claimed through those programmes.

Funding commitments depend on the approved energy regulations and budget. If requests exceed available money, a priority system applies and payment may be deferred to a later financial year.
