CO2 reduction programme: efficient appliances
Electricity customers can receive €50 in bill credits over five years when replacing an old household appliance with a new model rated B or better.

Replace a washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator or freezer, electric oven or dishwasher with a new appliance in energy efficiency class B or better. This entry covers the household-appliance route of the CO2 reduction programme.
The €50 support is credited to your annual electricity bill in five instalments of €10. There is no cash payment. If you cancel your electricity supply contract within five years, your entitlement to further support ends.
Eligibility
You must be an existing or new electricity customer of Stadtwerke Gunzenhausen GmbH for at least five years. Buy the new appliance from a local dealer or installer on the programme’s partner list.
Only appliances purchased in calendar year 2026 qualify, and only one appliance per household per year can receive support. Dispose of the old appliance properly. The invoice must be in the applicant’s name and identify the manufacturer and appliance type.
Funding is limited and there is no legal entitlement to a subsidy.

Complete the appliance application form, including details of the old and new appliances and disposal of the old one. Attach a copy of the invoice, sign the application and have the dealer sign and stamp it.
