Solar panel loan
Homeowners can borrow €3,000–€30,000 without collateral for solar panels, heat pumps, wind turbines or energy storage at a property they own in Estonia.

The loan pays for purchasing and installing equipment at your home or holiday house. It requires no down payment or collateral.
You repay the loan in fixed monthly payments over six months to ten years. The fixed annual interest rate is 4.9%, calculated on the remaining loan balance. The agreement fee is 1% of the loan amount, with a minimum of €100. Early repayment is free of charge.
Eligibility
- The property must be in Estonia and registered in your name in the Land Register.
- Your monthly income over the preceding six months must be at least €650, or at least €1,300 with a co-applicant.
- After signing the agreement, you must use at least 90% of the loan amount to purchase and install solar panels, a heat pump, a wind turbine or an energy storage system.
If you do not comply with the agreement conditions and fail to use the money for its intended purpose, the bank applies a 19% interest rate.

Apply through Swedbank’s internet bank using the product page. Swedbank sends its answer by SMS or phone. If you proceed, sign the agreement; the money is transferred to your account immediately after signing.
Within 180 days of concluding the loan agreement, email documents confirming the equipment’s purchase and installation, or a copy of the electricity repurchase agreement, to solar@swedbank.ee.
