Energy efficiency rebates

Harrison County RECIowa

Residential cooperative members in west central Iowa can receive a rebate for insulation in buildings heated primarily by electricity.

Cette fiche est actuellement disponible en anglais.

The insulation rebate pays 20% of the cost, up to $800 per building per year. It covers both new and replacement insulation.

Eligible materials are blown-in insulation, spray foam, AeroShield, insulating concrete forms, rigid Styrofoam panels and structural insulated panels.

Eligibility

You must be a Harrison County REC member. The cooperative serves members in west central Iowa, and the building must use electricity as its primary heating source.

If a renewable energy facility, such as wind, solar, biomass or hydro, generates power at your location or supplies alternative or supplemental energy there, it must send 100% of its output to the grid. It cannot use net metering or supply your own loads before feeding the grid.
