Powerhouse Ventures invests $500,000 to $2 million in companies that fit its focus. This is venture investment, not a grant: the investor receives a financial interest in the company under the agreed deal terms and seeks a return as the company grows. For its role in a funding round, Powerhouse Ventures states that it may be the lead investor, share the lead role, or invest alongside another lead investor.
Eligibility
Powerhouse Ventures looks for:
- A founding team already scaling its technology for an existing market.
- A company at pre-seed or seed, the early company-funding stages Powerhouse Ventures targets.
- A digital solution or software product for energy, mobility, buildings or industry.
- Primarily a business-to-business model, meaning the company's main customers are normally other businesses or organisations.
