NUR household appliance rebate

Sustainable Energy Development Authority MalaysiaMalaisiejusqu’à 200 MYRclôture 31 déc. 2026

RM200 off a listed energy-efficient air conditioner or refrigerator for eligible Malaysian household electricity users.

Cette fiche est actuellement disponible en anglais.

Choose an air conditioner or refrigerator on the NUR eligible-product list with a four- or five-star energy label from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) or the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS). The programme supports lower household electricity use and greenhouse-gas emissions.

The retailer deducts RM200 when you pay: a RM2,000 refrigerator costs you RM1,800 after the rebate. You do not wait for the retailer to claim reimbursement from SEDA Malaysia.

Once the discount has been applied and the sale completed, cancellation is generally not allowed. Any cancellation is at the retailer’s discretion and must be requested through the retailer or marketplace, which submits it in the NUR system with a reasonable justification.

Eligibility

  • You must be a Malaysian citizen and a user or owner of a registered domestic electricity account with TNB, SESB, Sarawak Energy (SEB) or NUR Power.
  • For the 2026 intake, you must not have claimed under NUR@PETRA in 2025. Earlier purchases under SAVE 2.0 (2021), SAVE 3.0 (2022) or SAVE 4.0 (2024) do not exclude you.
  • Each electricity account can receive one rebate for one listed air conditioner or refrigerator. The appliance must carry a four- or five-star energy label, and eligible purchases must be made in 2026.
  • Tenants may apply. SEDA advises tenants to inform the electricity-account holder and obtain permission before claiming.
  • The rebate cannot be transferred or exchanged.

Conditions de cette période de candidature
  • First come, first served, subject to remaining quota.[^c1]

Check your electricity account through SEDA’s eligibility checker before buying, then select a listed model and a registered retailer. Rebates are allocated first come, first served while quota remains.

For an in-store purchase, bring your identity card and a domestic electricity bill from one of the latest three months. The retailer verifies your eligibility before purchase and takes RM200 off the price at checkout.

For an online purchase, use a registered retailer on a participating marketplace: Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, PGMall or Youbeli. Contact the retailer before paying so it can verify your details and issue the RM200 voucher code. Enter the code under the store-voucher option at checkout. Once you receive the online rebate, you must redeem it through that marketplace; if you have not received it yet, you may still buy in a registered physical store.

If the checker says your account does not exist, SESB, SEB and NUR Power account users can click Register. Registration confirmation is provided within three working days; check again on the same site. For problems checking a TNB account, contact SEDA Malaysia instead.
