Green agricultural loan
A loan for Norwegian farmers investing in lower-emission or energy-saving operations, secured on the farm property.
Cette fiche est actuellement disponible en anglais.
Finance new environmentally friendly technology or energy-saving measures in your farm operation. The investment must reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and/or increase carbon uptake.
Supported machinery and equipment include manure-store covers and dry-manure storage, manure-injection and hose-spreading equipment, drainage, precision fertiliser spreaders, GPS for an existing tractor, nitrogen sensors and electric or gas-powered tractors or mini-loaders. These examples remain subject to the climate-outcome requirement.
The bank discusses your proposed measures and adapts the financing to your needs. This is borrowed money to repay; the adviser discussion determines the financing arrangement for your investment.
Eligibility
- You must be an agricultural customer investing in environmentally friendly technology or energy-saving measures in your operation.
- The loan must be secured on agricultural property, which means the property provides security for the money you borrow.
- You must have other financing and/or an account relationship with Aurskog Sparebank.
- The bank wants agricultural customers to carry out a KSL self-audit of their farm operation and use, or consider using, the Klimasmart Landbruk climate calculator to assess emissions and carbon uptake.
