Business energy loan
A loan for businesses that own their property and want to improve its energy efficiency, including solar panels, insulation and heating upgrades.

You can finance solar panels, replacement doors or windows, additional insulation, heat pumps, charging stations, batteries for storing electricity you generate yourself, appliances, ventilation and heating systems, or larger renovations that reduce the building’s energy use.
When the loan is paid out, Varbergs Sparbank pays the invoice for the energy-saving investment. You repay the borrowed money with interest. Contact the bank for a price quotation.
Eligibility
- You must own the property where you plan the improvements. The measures must reduce energy consumption.
- Show a quotation specifying the planned measures when applying. For larger renovations, the bank may also require documentation showing that the investment saves energy.
- You must be a customer of Varbergs Sparbank to apply for a business loan. New businesses and businesses switching banks can start through its business-customer onboarding route.
- The bank assesses your creditworthiness. Its general business-loan terms also provide for assessment of security: this may be property or a charge over business assets; in some cases the bank lends against a guarantor who takes responsibility for repayment, or accepts a loan without security.
